Merry Xmas & Happy New Year 2013

Today, 2 more days to Xmas day 2012.

Last Friday 21 Dec was my company D&D session. Its is not a big occasion as our company is quite small company. Its called "Private Party" on the signage. We celebrate it in Clarke Quay area. So, as you can guess, its just beside the river, but we chose inside the restaurant, so could get the air con and more comfy i guess. It is my first time to celebrate it with this company, so everything was so new for me.

First, we just ate our dinner menu, its buffet! and after that we play couple of games. Frankly said, i was pretty sucks at all games. Here are the list of games we played:

1. JENGA. as you know, in my home country, it is called as UNO. Previously i played that and i could play, but idk what happen to my hands. we are divided in 2 teams and my hand was so shaking and because of me, our team was lost! What a really shame, i was so apologizing to all my team members. so shame.

2. We played Taboo. its like they give you hints of words to get you answer 1 word correctly. I wasn't into the game as one of my team always skip those words, and we could only answer 1 before time out! so we lost.

3. BINGO. there are 2 sessions and 4 winner, 1 sessions for 2 winners. well, i have most numbers but none of that could make Bingo. So, i did not get anything.

Until fourth and last session, i did not have anything to bring home!

So last session is Lucky draw. So, as usual, when we arrived, they ask us to take number and after that at the end of the event, they will randomly choose the number. When they called no 1, no 2 and no 3, i was so hopeless because they did not call my number. But well, one of my colleague said that i've got change, so i was bewildered and i found it that for this lucky draw, the last no will be win prize no.1  wow.
Because in my home country, it was when they called your no. then you just win, usually only 3 winners. But as they told so, so i just waiting and waiting. Left 10 no behind, still my name has not been called. Well, maybe its just luck to be unlucky, because i never win any lucky draw before, even they always miss out my name. So, i keep waiting and waiting, until 3 no left and one of that was my no. wow. so they called the 3rd winner, not me. after that, they called no. 5, which is just my no. So, i won the 2nd price, which is Capita vouchers. wow :)

As you can see, Those 5 vouchers are the ones i won and the 20$ is Fair Price voucher is a gift from one of our manager, He is so generous to give his 50/60$ vouchers from his winnings to some staff. nice! :D

So, i wish a good lucky draw for you also, if you have.
Once again, Merry Xmas 2012 and Happy New year 2013. wish all of us have a good year ahead ^^

Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

Ok, this time, i am gonna review this product: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. I already used this item quite long and i really love this product.

Details, you can find here.

What it is said in website:

Our best-selling Tea Tree Oil is a natural, targeted solution to help clear blemishes quickly and effectively without over-drying the skin. Renowned for its anti-bacterial benefits, the Tea Tree Oil also helps to soothe blemished skin.

And... well yeah, it just works nice on my skin. I used this if i had acnes and just put in on the acne and it did soothe my acne and any redness caused. Nice. It's not sticky and the smell is so natural as tea mints. I can put it without or with moisturizer. Just put with cotton swab/finger and rub on the acne. Left it around couple of hours or wait until next day, and you can see the differences. And don't get wrong, although it is only 10 ml, but it can last long, as long you use it in adequate amount and not too much.

Rating: 4/5, will do re-purchase.

Review:The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Perfector

Product name: Seaweed Pore Perfector
Brand: The body shop

In website, it is said:

A lightweight gel treatment, specially formulated to target specific problem areas, such as enlarged or blocked pores, excess oiliness and occasional blemishes. Helps to improve the appearance of large pores over time, with continued regime use.

Please refer to this for details.

Well, i was using this quite a while, you can see in the pics, it almost 1/4 by now.

For me, when i apply on my skin, it dried fast but it left sticky feeling on my skin and there are no changes on my pores at all. It did smooth my skin but did nothing to my pores! My pores still large and same sizes as i never used it. the 15 ml will last long, because you only need to pump a bit only to your face and rub it over your skin.

Pro:

- really nice scent, i like the scent, so gentle and smell nice.
- nice packaging, i like the pump type. made me only use as advise dose, not overdose.

Cons:

- Pricey! So expensive if compared to the result of this product.
- It does not minimize my pores at all

in Conclusion, maybe my face skin is not compatible using this product. Basicly, I love The Body Shop, i was using their other products, like The Seaweed mattifying day cream and Seaweed deep cleansing facial wash and i love it so much. It works on me. I really love their smell. so gentle and nice. But, just this Seaweed Pore Perfector gives me no results.

Rating: 2/5
